Assuming the following

2 Servers
1 SAN device

Where do I install the Starwind software? On the SAN device or the servers or all 3

Just evaluating different options

You install the StarWind VSAN software on the device that is going to present iSCSI targets to your servers. This means StarWind shall be installed on the storage server.
