Hi,
I've just had a power failure on one of our 2 node VSAN Free (8.0 Build 12585 on Windows 2012 R2 full updated).
After restoring power the synchronization has begun as usual but i can't access the menu for changing priority.
When I push right click over device or image nothing happens (on both servers).
Occasionally a menu with Add Server/Refresh is popped up.
Any idea?
Regards.

Some more info:
We have a free license for starwind v8 12585 that runs on 2 x Windows 2012 R2 (latest windows update patches applied).
At the time of acquisition, the license allowed (and now still allows) the use of the GUI management tool (but in only one scenario: independent compute and storage, 2-node SOFS cluster, serving a separate hyper-v cluster).
I cannot confirm if this behaviour is recent because I've not needed a full resync for a long time (and the GUI was not tested).
If I have to bet, the last time I nedeed to change the Resync priority was in build 12166.
I have rebooted both nodes several times and, except for the GUI problem, everything seems to work correctly.
i'm totally clueless.
It seems that it's only me...

I would like to remember you that I haven't a support plan.
I'm working with a free license and, by the way, that seems to be the problem.
Not only I cannot access the contextual menu, the "target" top menu is also grayed out.
Maybe a problem with the license control in the UI?
Regards.

Oleg,
I'm afraid i'm a completely noob in Starwind's Powershell management nowadays (and this is a production environment).
Can I downgrade to a "GUI supported" release for my license?
Definitely 12585 and 12658 are not working. Maybe 12381?
I think, at least until I reach a certain level of expertise, it is a bad idea to work in the current way.
Thank you.

Sure, case logged (request 88521).
By the way, you didn't answer me about the downgrade option.
Thank you, Oleg.

Thank you!
No, downgrade option will not help.
Did you get the reply of StarWind support engineer?
Can you please provide us with information as requested?

Unfortunately, the Management Сonsole is available for monitoring purposes only if you have installed StarWind Virtual SAN Free build 12658. The fully functional Management Console is available in the commercial, trial, and NFR versions for industry specialists and students.
You can contact your account manager in order to clarify the options available.
