Hi - now that I have a working 2 node solution, I would like to start planning for expansion. I have read your whitepapers on 'Scale-Out', but I have not found any practical examples of how StarWind handles this. My goal is to plan for additional nodes that would have the same disk layout as the first two nodes, but just larger disks. Is it possible to grow a StarWind SAN to as many nodes as I want or will I only end up with 2 nodes after adding 3rd and 4th, and then retiring the old nodes? Is that how the scale-out is supposed to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Gordon

Gordon,

Here is an illustration of how this can be used:

Thanks for the example. What would be the advantage of this over just bringing up additional 2-node clusters that are separate and are not linked in this fashion? Thanks - Greg

Actually, it depends on your needs and scenario you are planning to use.
