Windows 2016 active-passive DC

Hello.
What about licensing if I would like to run W 2016 on 2 nodes VSAN with an active-passive connection?
Do I need a license for each server or with this scenario one license will be more than enough?

If what you are asking is Windows Server licensing, I believe Microsoft Support might have more precise information on that.
