Hi,

Is this still the supported way to add L2 cache to an existing ha device in the current version?

https://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware. ... /661/#add3

Part: Adding cache to both HA devices.

Adding or increasing L1 cache is very easy from the GUI now.

Any hint or tip?

Yes, the linked KB article is still the supported way to perform adding/removing L2 cache.
As for L1, indeed, it can be easily done from GUI now, although if anyone prefers the old-school way, it is still an option.

Should I add the L2 cache to the first replication partner without stopping replication?

You cannot add caching without stopping the service.
