Despite the fact that it doesn`t work on my CPU because of missing hardware support for AES encryption - for my curiousity:

Why is starwind VSA such a boulder? What`s inside what makes it so big ?

[ ... ] put their VSA into 180M, look:

# ls -lah StarWindVSA_ESXi.zip
-rw-r--r--@ 1 roland staff 4.9G Sep 15 18:41 StarWindVSA_ESXi.zip

# ls -lah [ ... ]_vsa_ova.zip
-rw-r--r--@ 1 roland staff 180M Sep 12 14:15 [ ... ]_vsa_ova.zip

Because we use a bunch of the UI components whey don't do including whole rendering done on server side.

Again, we're re-working VSA so 2.0 will have client-side rendering, less dependencies on a big heavy components so most of your complains are faced.

Hi!

Will VSA 2.0 contain LSFS?

Current plan is YES, but we might bring it to production level there with an update. LSFS is under work now as well, so we'll have GA with a Windows build in a couple of weeks. Time / adoption will tell.
