Why the Death of Free GUI

Hello,
I am a long time supporter of Starwind and I have always recommended your products both free and paid versions. I am disheartened to learn the GUI has been removed from the licensing on the free version. I would like to know why you felt that was no longer a feature which is needed for free users? Not everyone spends their days coding in power shell and a GUI seems like such a critical piece of your software for your users. I would hope you would be willing to bring that feature back in future free versions, as i am sure i am not the only person who feels this feature needs to be reintegrated .

Because we need to have something to sell (we live from what we sell, remember?) and having no GUI is a very good equivalent of a free Hyper-V Server from Microsoft having no GUI as well.

We might change NoGUI -> GUI at some point so stay tuned. + we'll be flexing out free Web GUI in a couple of weeks (now it's the same licensing policy).

Either way, drop me a PM and we'll talk with some private details. Good luck and thanks for supporting us!
