We have ISCSI targets that use Flash Cache.

During testing we will take the Flash drive offline at the Windows Server OS level, it disappears from Explorer as expected.

There is no notification that Starwind can not see the cache, not in the console or event viewer. The running VMs don't seem to care that the cache is missing, I am assuming that Starwind is gracefully reverting to the data stored on the spinning media.

Where is the notification?

Hello mattdarnell, thank you for your question.
Our developers are aware of it. This is under development now and will be fixed with the following major update. The event will be added to the StarWind and Windows logs. Don't have exact timeframe yet though. Stay tuned!
