Possible Currupted IMG file during transfer

Hello. I have a potentially corrupted IMG file. We were migrating from an older server to a new server. We through we shutdown the Starwind ISCSI service, and we did a File copy from the old server to the new server. We were unable to mount the img on the new server, even after we did a rebuild on the header XML file. We attempted to bring up the IMG on the original server and we got the same error. We found out that we had not shutdown the STARWIND services when doing the file copy, we accidentally skipped that step. We dont have HA and dont have a backup.

the specific error we are getting is "image non-active". The file size looks correct at 300gb.

Any suggestions on what we can do to troubleshoot this further?

Hello mcamino,
Thanks for your interesting in StarWind solution.
Would be perfect if you will share with us logs from both StarWind hosts. You can collect the logs with our .bat file which you can download by following next link:https://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware. ... ogs-bat-2/ and submit support case via web form https://www.starwindsoftware.com/support-form

Update for community:
The issue have been resolved by unchecking Read-only flag in .IMG file properties.
