For the first time I checked my server log and was quite surprised by all the errors in it such as:
I have hundreds of these that repeat themselves:
1/18 18:11:28.470 1c68 Sp: *** CStarPackCore::DeleteEx Logical error. Empty VirtualLBA[3800415]
These also appear quite regularly:
1/18 19:07:20.864 1a44 Sp: *** CStarPackPagePacker::GetDataHash Logical error. There is no entry [57005866] in the data list
1/18 19:07:20.864 1a44 Sp: *** CSiDedupeBase::AddHash The full hash verification routine has been failed! Status (4306)
1/18 21:26:15.778 1360 Sw: *** DDDisk_Dispatch_Unknown: SCSIOP_XXX (0x85) is not supported.
And this one:
1/18 14:18:17.639 1b78 Srv: StarWindService::UpdateTrackerThread: SW_CheckUpdate(host: 'www.starwindsoftware.com', page: '/updatetracker/index.php'') failed, error code 31(0x1f)!
Should I be worried? I've had a handful of VMs that use Starwind storage via iSCSI in the last week or two that have had corrupted disks (NTFS errors in Event Viewer). These were fixed with a chkdsk but is there some other underlying issue with my Starwind Virtual SAN configuration? I run all my VMs on Samsung SM863 SSD drives and after running the command line version of Magician they all come back with no errors. The disks are connected to my Supermicro X10SL7-F motherboards LSI SAS ports.
Thank you.
