Starting a volume with quick first replication

I discovered this myself the quick way to start a volume and first replication. If you created 1TB right away and you have only 1G of nics (and even 10G nics), then you have to wait couple of hours and also lowered the life of your ssd or hd.

I tried creating a 10G first and put my ssd cache immediately to what I want, a 55G ssd cache. I tried first with 2G but gives me error on the second node when I increased but didn't ask support on it why it happened so I stick to 10G first. Then gradually I increased to 40G after 10 minutes, then another 50G after 10 minutes and increase 400G (after 10 min) and another 500G (after 10 min) so that it becomes 1TB total capacity. Not sure about the minutes, I just didn't try right away do it, and it's still about 1 hour only not 8 hours or 16 hours or even days.

This is even the second volume on the starwind san when I did it.

Hello Lenovo31,
Thank your for your interest in StarWind product.
This is one of the ways how can create a big HA device without waiting while the synchronization process will be completed. There is no need to increase it step-by-step, you can do it once - from 1 GB to 1 TB.
