I've just started looking into this solution as an alternative to storage spaces direct.
I have 2 servers I'd like to use for hyper-v, but I'd also like to run the starwind software on them, to have everything in a 2-node setup.
Would that be a "supported" use case?

Oh, and this is for my homelab for me to break and fix things, and just get to know new stuff I can use in my day to day job.

A bit info about hardware:

2 identical Intel servers, dual e5-2670, 64gb ram.
2x960GB SSD, 5x1TB HGST Ultrastar, SSD's connected to 6gbit sata ports on motherboard, spinning disks on scu onboard controller (no raid).
dual 1gbit intel nics (connection to network + 1 for heartbeat)
dual mellanox connectx-2 rdma enabled for sync

Thanks!

It's an absolutely supported configuration and setup. You should have zero issues with your hardware as well.
