Hello! I have a two Windows ser 2012R2 with role HyperV and two Windows HyperV ser 2012R2

I requested a free license for the Virtual SAN for Hyper-V and Microsoft Failover Cluster, 2 node, and was sent the download link and license file. I downloaded the software and key and when I went to install. I tried it to instal on Windows ser 2012R2 with role HyperV and Windows HyperV ser 2012R2. I received this error as a separate pop-up:

Error: Wrong License Platform
License Information
Product: Starwind Virtual SAN
Name: [myname]
Organization: [myorganization]
Number of servers: 2
Error: License platform is not compatible
This license requires platform: Dedicated Physical Hyper-V Server(no hyperV)
Your platform is Physical HyperV server.

Please help me.

I realized the problem. Tell me please, does version NATIVE SAN no longer exists?

Free version does not allow hyper-converged scenario anymore. Only compute and storage separated. That is why you are not able to use StarWind on the node where Hyper-V role is installed. Please refer to the latest Free vs Paid https://www.starwindsoftware.com/free-vs-paid whitepaper update.

Free version take a couple of new or decommissioned servers and crates a failover "shared nothing" NAS and SAN from them. SMB3 (Hyper-V) and NFS (VMware & Xen).

Pic on a product page clearly says what we can and cannot do. HerE:

There are exceptions. Spice works users with a proper level have access to the free version doing hyper-converged thing. Here:

We 'll update misleading text in names of platforms.
