Hello Omnividente,

These kinds of errors usually mean that you are doing something wrong. What StarWind build are you attempting to install? Are you running StarWind on the same machine where the client application is (Hyper-V, VMware, etc)? Are you attempting to install StarWind on the physical partition or on the VM?

As a possible solution consider reobtaining the license file :)

The problem is that the free version of StarWind can not be installed directly on bare-metal servers in the 2-node configuration.
The only way to use such scenario with a free version is to create a Hyper-V VM on each server and install StarWind into it.

This is incorrect. I'm running the free version on 2 physical Hyper-V hosts just fine (I have a problem with MPIO, but that's separate from the license). A VM is only needed if you are installing the VMWare version. The Hyper-V version installs on the actual hosts (although based on other forum postings, they may be having some issues with their license generator).

The most recent free version of StarWind does not allow installing 2-node scenario on bare-metal.
