Today i get free license for use with Hyper-V 2-node Edition, but then a try to install it(Server 2012 r2 Hyper-v role already installed), i see this error

This is incorrect. I'm running the free version on 2 physical Hyper-V hosts just fine (I have a problem with MPIO, but that's separate from the license). A VM is only needed if you are installing the VMWare version. The Hyper-V version installs on the actual hosts (although based on other forum postings, they may be having some issues with their license generator).darklight wrote:The problem is that the free version of StarWind can not be installed directly on bare-metal servers in the 2-node configuration.
The only way to use such scenario with a free version is to create a Hyper-V VM on each server and install StarWind into it.
