I have setup the 2 node cluster as per the documentation but i am confussed by the iscsi_local virtual adapter. How do you add this adapter to the iscsi bindings in esx5.5 so that it can be used to access the local starwind storage devices. Also in the setup document on page 33 it shows that windows has 6 ip addresses but there is only 4 network cards.
Thanks

Hi,
iscsi_local is just a virtual adapter which has no assigned physical NIC.
Please follow this guidance
http://blogs.vmware.com/smb/2014/03/bac ... three.html starting from
Creating Standard vSwitch
6 IPs is the result of a redundancy pursuit. 2 physical NICs were divided in 2 VLANs each, which made it possible to use one physical NIC for sync and iSCSI at the same time. Note: we do not recommend that you use same NICs (IPs) for sync and iSCSI at logical level.
