I'll start by saying this is for the most recent V6 build, so if you guys aren't paying any attention to that any more...then I guess I'm out of luck since V8 doesn't have ROW with discard.

Anyway, I found a bug whereby an initiator that runs out of disk space when connected to a redirect-on-write with discard IBV target causes the entire StarWind service to lock up hard. The crash across all initiators connected to the target is truly spectacular.

I can provide server logs if you like. I just didn't know if you were touching V6 anymore.

We don't indeed maintain IBV and V6 codebase anymore but please proceed with a logs and detailed description sent to support@starwindsoftware.com so we could take a look.

We'll move on with a "discard" with V8 at some point so no worries ))
