Hi ,
I just want to try iSNS to register the ISCSI target and iscsi initiator. (v8.0.7774)
But I find the in the management Console > server Log , it show error 2

3/16 22:58:31.430 dd8 iSNS: creating iSNS server at address 10.0.1.1:3205
3/16 22:58:31.430 dd8 conf: Variable 'iSnsServer' is set to '10.0.1.1:3205'.
3/16 22:58:31.462 ad4 Srv: Restarting listening...
3/16 22:58:31.462 ad4 Srv: Waiting for iSCSI connections at 10.0.1.1:3260 ...
3/16 22:58:31.462 ad4 iSNS: Registering new iSNS node name 'iqn.2008-08.com.starwindsoftware:nas01-ws-Disk1' at address 10.0.1.1:3260
3/16 22:58:31.477 ad4 iSNS: Adding target portals at '10.0.1.1:3260'
3/16 22:58:31.524 ad4 iSNS: Error adding target portal addresses '10.0.1.1:3260'. Error 2

and in the windows event log:
iSNS encountered a protocol or other error with iSNS error code 0x0000000e. The eventlog data contains the iSNS request that contains the protocol error.

I have a problem is , I can see the registered target and initiator in windows isns server properties.
but after few minutes later , all the entry were cleared.
And the initiator was unable to find any discovered target.

is it something wrong for my settings?
THnaks

Let me check that with our R&D. Meanwhile, can I ask you to upload your StarWind logs somehere and share the link with us?
