Question about iSCSI IP addresses

More a question when working in the lab - does iSCSI work internally of the referral target name (e.g. UKMAC-SAN91) or it's IP address, i.e. if the IP address changed, would it keep working? I know that in production, you'd use static IP addresses but in our environment, at workstation level, we can't use static IP on the VLAN used for servers. So I have to use a DHCP address from the workstation VLAN. I have put a reservation on it so it doesn't change so more of a idle "I wonder" question than anything else?

If the IP will change the iqn (target name) will remain the same, but it will work on the new IP.
