Trying to create scsi disk for ms sql cluster setup

hello Forum,
I am trying to setup scsi disk to be used later for ms sql server failover cluster.
My environment: 1 host with vm vmware guest server 2012 where I am setting up a disk. 2nd host with 2 vm's server 2012 which are nodes of the windows cluster.
Can I use StarWind free adition for it? Which type of disk I should be creating?
As I understand, this disk will have to be acessed through scsci initiator by nodes hosts and mounted by cluster.
Thank you for your help, Gene.
