I'm in (KOOLER). Max would join us after he'll be back from his sick days out and Tolya would jump in after he'll end enjoying his vacation :)

Hi, i'm also back here :)

One thing i noticed during testing of RC was that each new Lun (Device) needs it's own Target.
Is this still the case? We have around 50 Luns in Production (Vmware) and it really is a lot of overhead to setup all the targets everything you create a lun (and a nightmare when deleting and figuring out the "free" targets within the range).
Is this still the case and:
a. Why do you do this? Performance?
b. will this change in the near future?

Welcome back :)

We do support multi-LUN on top of a single target. It's not something a lot of people use. Initially it was indeed 1 target = 1 LU.
