I thought I had a document earlier that outlined the correct steps to perform a full system shutdown (all three nodes + vmware hosts) and power on procedure

I'm going to be moving servers to another physical location and would like to avoid any surprises.
I want to be able to shut down all nodes and bring them all back up without needing a resync.

Does this require dismounting the datastores in ESXi to ensure no data writes on the StarWind side?

And you can get back the document again if someone stole it

You should refer to the pages 10-22, which should give you the main guidelines.
