Hello Sir,

Could you please assist me to create an encrypted virtual disk using start wind 5.8. I have installed this software on Windows Vista and want to access the encrypted disc using VMWARE.

However while creating the disk, i am getting below error message:

"Image File Cannot be Created."
"Failed: Operation cannot be completed. (error 29)"

One of my friend is able to create an encrypted virtual disk on Windows 7.

Kindly suggest what should i do?

For some reason StarWind cannot write to the location you want to save img file to. Please check can you create any random file there (say with NotePad).

Yes i am able to create the normal disk but facing problem with encrypted option.

Well, first of all I`d like to tell you that Vista (so as the W7) does not meet our system requirements (please see the link below).

Yes, you can run starwind in desktop versions of OS, but you should know that this configuration is not supported.
