If my trial of starwind target expires, what happens?
I am presenting a 600GB target. And I think I am not using any of the advanced features.

thanks,

The same what happens when you car is running out of gas. It actually stops moving forward. It does not blow up taking whole block with it and it does not disappear in the air like Cheshire cat did. It just stops working... The same with our StarWind :)

Anton, forgive me but my english is not very good.
So my target will no longer be accessible but the .img file will remain untouched?
Also, will i be able to reinstall the target and get 30 days more and remount the target?
i am trying the target between a linux and a 2008 machine.

thanks,

Yes, exactly! Target will not accept any connections but your data will be where you've put it - on the disk.

No, this is not allowed... Or people will install the same trial again and again w/o paying us and we'll have to rob the people on the streets to make our living and pay the bills.

If you want longer trial - just ask. If you want free version functionality - just ask. Support / sales reps will be happy to assist you.

It does not actually matter what you do with it. For example you can have mate black GT-R to smash Porsche 911 Turbo on Nurburgring or you can drive it to your local night club to
impress the chicks or you can bury it on your back yard and create florist installation. The same with our StarWind - you can use Linux or Windows 2008 Server or Solaris or ...
to connect to it - features set is all the same for anybody. Like communism! But with money...

Jesus Christ always talked using analogues so people could understand him easily. I don't think much has changed in last 2,000 years so I'm doing the same :)

Yes of course! Please use support@starwindsoftware.com e-mail alias, drop us a message and sales / support staff will generate you your prolonged trial key.
