Can anyone tell me if the file format used for StarWind (IMG) is a proprietary file format for StarWind or is a industry standard file format? The reason I ask is that if it were an industry standard format, developers, such as myself, could extend the functionality of StarWind by writing our own programs.

And on that note, any plans for an API for StarWind?

Sincerely,
Darrell Chapman

1) There's no format actually... IMG is a set of raw sectors from your hard disk. No extra data added.

2) API and C and C++ plug-ins were offered for StarWind for years. This stuff is called StarWind SDK and is subject for separate licensing.
