Hello

I'm new on StarWind, I have a question:

I have two ESX with two lan per server.

I have two SAN with two lan per server.

Can I install StarWind on SAN replica data on one lan, another lan for Virtual IP for iscsi-target and failover, the two ESX
connect this Virtual IP for iscsi. If one SAN fail the Virtual IP switch to another SAN.

Thanks !

And I read StarWind document, I don't understand if one SAN fail, how can ESX connecting this SAN switch to another SAN.

Thanks !

This is called MPIO. Should be VMware software engineers problem :) Just grab the guide and follow configuration step-by-step. If you'd have any issues please let us know and we'll be happy to assist, provide live demo on the Web etc.

It's step-by-step guide... Where exactly did you get stuck?

Hi

I'm reading Starwind with VMware HA manual, can Starwind support A/P mode?

In A/A mode, how can ESX failover to another iscsi IP address?

Thanks !

We support both Failover / Failback (one node serves, another node idle) and Round Robin (both nodes split served requests) configurations.
