I would like to see the speed between my starwind san and the clients. My clients are VM's on a xen server. Do I use iperf installed on the starwind server and on one of the windows vm's, or do I set up iperf on my xenserver host? Thanks

I would rather use it on Windows clients.

...as physical network could run at the full wire speed but you suppose to route iSCSI traffic thru the virtual channel, don't you?

I think I follow. I will run it from starwind to one of my vm's. What kind of numbers should I expect for a "good" throughput?
