I've dedicated a machine to starwind but i see that the starwindservice.exe is not using memory as i would expect.

The machine has 4Gig's of ram and 4 core's.

The starwindservice.exe is using 12,632K and it has a lot of pagefaults 250,000,000

I see that explorer.exe is using 14,228K. So windows explorer is using more memory than starwind!!!

I'm guessing that starwind would benefit from using more memory instead of trying to page everything through 12Megs of memory.

Is there any way to increase the working set of memory for startwindsevice.exe

Thanks

StarWind service doesn`t require more memory, because it has no data to fill it in. If you want to use RAM for caching you can upgrade to StarWind 5, where is implemented high speed caching mechanism.
