Very slow to recognize a new LUN in ESX 4.0

Hi,

Im using Starwind 4.1 build 20090515 and ESX 4.0.

When i create a new LUN it often takes several minutes for it to showup in ESX.

From the vCenter console I,


1) Select a server
2) goto configuration
3) add storage
4) Select disk/lun

And i wait.

Periodically i right click and choose refresh. Eventually it shows up.

Is there any way to force this to occur a bit faster???
