I have installed the new release of StarWind 5.0 on my test server (W2003 - 3Gb Ram - Adaptec 2405 - four seagate savvio 10k in Raid 10).

I have a pool with two XenServer 5.5 and with XenCenter I have tried to add a new storage repository.

The problem is that XenCenter can't discover the IQN of the StarWind Server.

I have created a basic virtual disk (img file) with the options async and clustering. Permissions are all ok.

With the "old" version (4.2.2) all were ok, on the same server.

I use a dedicated network for the storage, every XenServer have a dedicated Nic for the storage.

Any idea?

Thanks,

Andrea V.

Ok, problem solved.

I have forget to change the starwind.cfg file.

I have uncommented:

<iScsiDiscoveryListInterfaces value="1"/>

and now XenCenter can view the IQN of StarWind.

That's all. :)

That is absolutely correct! Just uncomment this config file string, save it, re-start the service and everything will work.

Thanks.
