Hello :)

I have one question.
Is it possible to make a connection to StarWind Target, running on a Windows 2003 Server machine?

I already made some "discovery" sessions with open-iscsi, but i didn't get any answer from the server!

Has someone made experiences with this topic?

greetz,

Hello,

Once your Linux iSCSI Initiator supports iSCSI 1.0 protocol and the respective RFC - StarWind iSCSI Target will work with it.
However, some of the Linux initiators won't :(

Thanks

I too am having connection (login) issues after successful discovery of devices on Windows server running iSCSI target software; can you confirm that the open iscsi initiator bundled with SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10/SP2 supports iscsi 1.0?

I have just connected Open iSCSI Initiator 2.0 - 870 build by Fedora Core 11 (run under Fedora) to StarWind iSCSI Target successfully.
