hello,

i will test a configuration:

4 servers:

Server1 Starwind Iscsi target (node1) , two NICs Mirro RAID1 driver with remote iSCSI Target (First mirror Local Node1 Second mirror: Remote to NODE2)
Server2 Starwind Iscsi target (node2) , two NICs Mirro RAID1 driver with remote iSCSI Target (First mirror Local Node2 Second mirror: Remote to NODE1)

Questions:

1) Must I Have Starport Enterprise (because free edition it not possible to have 2 installation in one network)
2) How the esx server knows the the Iscsi Target is down ?

THX for information

Define soon please?

Are there any other best practices to get close to HA, as in mirroring luns etc? We need to minimize downtime, and if HA is coming "soon", we can wait if we can deploy with mirrored luns etc...

You can create a mirrored LUNs configuration right now and re-configure it once HA is released. However, we cannot provide the exact dates at this point unfortunately.

Thanks
