Hi all

I just downloaded the free version of starwind and i was wonder where I can find the installation guide or user manual guide.

We have only one Esx Server and we are running everything on virtual environment. The backup server is also virtual and we are using netbackup.

We not alave yet and everything is under testing. We are planning to install another ESX for redundancy. Generally people do not raccomend to run backup server on Virtual machine as performance might be effected. Of course we do not need any top Performance at the moment so this kind of configuration should be OK. We want to use a chelsio 10gb card and I was wonder how can we connect a virtual backup server using ESX to the SAN (StarWind) storage?

It is possible to create such environemt? The phisical connection between the ESX and the SAN Storage should be through a 1gb switch or direct cable connetions between the two?

Regards

Hi,

Installation and configuration guidelines can be found in Help - Help Topics in StarWind Management Console.

This document should help in configuring ESX with StarWind: http://www.starwindsoftware.com/images/ ... nd_ESX.pdf

Thanks
