Has anyone tried using virtual box virtualization from sun with starwind to build a cluster in windows 2003.

i built a windows domain controller (vmdc1 ) and a vm (vm10) with virtualbox 2.2.2.
used starwind to create quorum and dtc disk for vm10. used clustering and async ( as well as tried no async ).
The 2 drives were formated and seen by vm1.

when building cluster get the below message in cluster admin

vm10: setting private properties for resources
vm10: Failed to set the private properties for 'Disk Q' resource
Error 0x80070057: The parameter is incorrect.

I think it is issue with virtualbox rather than starwind.

With vmware , it works fine.

Any experiences?

Ashish,

Looks like it is something new that we have not really seen before. Please submit a support request at http://www.starwindsoftware.com/support - we will be glad to assist you.

Basically, we would need to take a look at the log files from C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind\logs

Thanks,
Rob
