We are working on a redundant SAN scenario for our Hyper-V servers. If we install the Starwind replication edition on 2 servers, can we present both a LUN from the primary Starwind server, and also the same LUN from the replicated Starwind Server to our HyperV server? The idea would be that we would that on our HyperV Server we would only mount the LUN from the primary Starwind server, unless it failed in which case we could then quickly mount the LUN from the replicated Strwind server, using the same drive letter on the HYperV Box. Will this work? And if so, could we extend the concept to be used in a MS clustering scenario?

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

This is possible and you can find additional information on how to do it here: http://www.starwindsoftware.com/images/ ... yper-V.pdf
