Slow performance from Novell Netware 6.5 Volumes

Volumes are hosted on 12TB 13 drive Raid5 SATA array on server that is Starwind Ent trial. 90 percent of our file server volumes are Windows 2003, but we have one big volume that we are in the process of migrating. We created two 2TB images on the server. We needed 4TB, but because netware 6.5 won't support LUNs over 2TB, we had to break it into two chunks.

The Netware admin created 4TB volume by pooling the two Starwind iSCSI targets in Netware and performance is not good. I'm at 2+ days and 750GB so far trying to copy 2.7TB from FC volume to iSCSI 4TB combined volume. I also created a 300GB Windows iSCSI target and mounted on Windows FileServer Cluster and it copied 238GB in 5hrs 10min all while the Novell volume was copying the 2.7TB of data.

Was this bad the he combined the to iSCSI images from the same array and they seem to be thrashing the around the disk to do all the writes. Why is the single Windows Volume soo much faster? I could see the pool volume maybe working faster if each volume was part of its own raid5 array, but it's on a single array. Can't wait til the Novell is off our network. In Windows all I have to do is convert LUN to GPT and all is well with the over 2TB Volumes.
Any suggestions?
