Hi,

I just installed Starwind on remote computer which is having a CD-RW Drive. I am able to access the Drive with Starport. The problem is that I am not able to access the Drive locally on that PC. After Stoppping the Starwind iScsi Service the Drive works fine.

How do I correct this problem?

Hi Kerry,

Yes, this is a known issue with current StarWind version.
We have plans to solve it in next versions.

But for now you should disable sharing of a CD/DVD drive in StarWind to access it locally.
I guess it's a bit easer way than stopping StarWindService every time.
Best regards,

I guess "solve the issue" is "allow the user to alter device sharing options"? :-)
