Connection fails in console

When I launch the StarWind console and try to connect to the localhost, I get an error that the connection was unsuccessfull, then a 'please wait' dialog box appears. This box does not go away, even when I click 'cancel' and 'yes' to the 'this will drop the connectin' dialog box. I am forced to kill the app from the task manager. What is the problem with this? It did work log enough for me to setup the target, but I can't access it now.
