Hi,

We use Starwind and IBVolume in order to use a cluster of SQL Server 2005. The IBVolume (in Growing Mode) contain all Databases.

We have one question about IBVolume Backup.
What is the best pratice to automatic backup IBVolume use in Growing Mode ?

How to use Incremental Backup Volume ?

Best Regards,

You have incremented writes added as a separate file in the IBV folder. So configure any backup application to "watch" IBV folder (where you store your files) and it will add new files to the tape or DVD/Blu-Ray (whatever you use as a destination storage).

Thanks!

P.S. Upcoming version of the StarWind will include Blu-Ray/HD-DVD & hard disk backup agent to handle this for you.
