Hi,

We use StarWind version 3.2.2 with a NAS Server indor to use a Cluster of SQL Server 2005. Databases and install are locate on a IBVolume.

Last Friday, all our servers are shutdown after a general power cut.
This power cut corrupt many databases who locate on this IBVolume.


How protect databases and data against this power cut ?
StarWind include a protection to meet up with not corupt data ?

StarWind can use huge amounts of RAM to implement write back caching and delayed writes to boost the performance. You can turn the caching OFF but this will affect performance... So the only way to have everything running smoothly - use UPSs with "live" batteries. That's the only way...
