Hello

After I installed StarWind iSCSI Target Software Version 3.2.2 on a Windows Server 2008 Beta3 I can't start the application. I receive the message "Creation of options XML failed. Invalid pointer. Error Code: 0x80004003." The Windows Server 2008 is installed on a Virtual Server 2005 R2. In a Windows Server 2003 Session on the same Virtual Server all works fine.

Any ideas?

Is StarWind iSCSI Target Software Version 3.2.2 ready to support Windows Server 2008 Failover Cluster?

Thanks
Martin

Martin,

StarWind 3.2.2 does not support LH Server.

Send your request to support@rocketdivision.com to download the recent StarWind v3.5 RC.

I have the same error message when installing StarWind on a Vista machine. It installs, but when I run the application I get an error message:

Creation of options XML failed.
Invalid pointer

Error Code: 0x80004003

The same problem - the same solution :) Drop us a message to the info@rocketdivision.com and we'd issue you with Version 3.5 RC download link :)
