**** Update ??? ****

Just did a full format of my F: drive in the VM, the F: is on the email LUN, it has dedup enabled.
The format is still not finish, it's about 80-85% completed, but the email LUN just has one(1) .spspx file (emails_118.spspx).
This takes like forever. Going 2hrs now
the emails LUN directory has move from 627GB to 8.1GB.

WTH (what the hell) is happening here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have formatted the f: drive, which is located on the Emails LUN.
On the iSCSI Server, i have regain my disk space, the .spspx files are now back to 1 file.
but, but , but, that dawn esxi 5.5 server, is at its limit with free space on this LUN.

Not one of the iSCSI LUN, that I have reclaim free space on the iSCSI server have regain any free space in esxi 5.5 datastore.

Can you explain this for me?
is it that esxi is not seeing the reclaim space, or SW-iSCSI is not reporting the reclaim free space?

Anatoly (staff) wrote:R&D confirmed that we can have that issue. QA department is testing the fix for it right now. As soon as we`ll be sure that it works we will update RC or put the fix into the RTM build.
Sorry, guest I did.
I will have to wait then, for new update.
