Our VSAN CVM trail has expired and our current storage LUNs are in a suspended state. We had originally wanted to just install the free version, but used the trial version instead.

What is the process of moving the existing CVM instances to the free version?

We are currently using a 2-node Hyper-V on Windows Server 2025 and have set up separate CVM vms on each node.

Welcome to StarWind Forum. You cannot transfer to Free from Trial; you need to redeploy the CVM and apply the free key.

Which VSAN product and version are you using? Different vendors handle trial-to-free licensing differently.
