Hi,

I have working Virtual SAN [FREE] working on two severs(Win 2022). It's work ok, but i need to move HB link to second LAN port on one of server. How to do it without making a mess.

1. Shutdown this server,
2. disconnect ethernet HB link
3. start server, move IP in windows configurtion from old network card to new network card. Start server in normal mode ???
4. shutdown server
5. plug ethernet HB link to new ethernet port and start server ?

What will happen if servers will work some time without HB link? but synchronization link will work in that time.

Welcome to StarWind Forum!
Is this link used for anything else, e.g., iSCSI or Management?
Also, do you plan to retain the IP address on that adapter?

Link is only for heartbeat.
IP will move to new port, so ip address for HB will be that same.

From StarWind VSAN standpoint, You don't need any precautions, provided that other links stay up and that HB is not used for anything else.
