Hi,
I have successfully created a two-node CVM storage for a failover cluster, and everything has been working great up until now.
However, when I logged into one of the CVMs via the web interface, I noticed that one of the appliances in the Appliance menu was showing a status of OFFLINE.
When I checked the other CVM, both appliances were showing ONLINE status.

I verified the network connections on both sides, and the ping between all networks used by the appliances is working correctly.

How can I bring the appliance back online? I have already tried restarting both nodes, but that didn’t help.

Welcome to StarWind Forum!
I am sorry to say that it is a known issue, I hope it to be fixed in future builds. Try readding the node that is offline.
This can also be the time mismatch between the nodes.
p.s. if you already have CVM, do you want to join our NVMe-oF beta (production-ready version should be there later this year)? This is for StarWind highly available devices connected over NVMe-oF.

Thank you for your quick response.

Yes, the time on the nodes is correct. Could you please confirm whether removing and re-adding the instance in the production environment is safe?

Also, thank you for the offer — we do already have CVM, and the NVMe-oF beta sounds interesting. We'd be open to learning more about it.

You are always welcome! I never had an issue with re-adding the node (i.e., it does not affect the production).

I re-added the node and that helped — for now, everything is working correctly. It turns out that it's indeed safe to add it in the production environment.
