Hello,

I'm starting off trying this product out and so far I've gotten everything configured the way I think I need it based on the documentation, but then when I try to create a LUN to present to my target host, I'm not able to do so through the GUI (which from what I understand is a known thing) but everything is telling me I need to set them up via PowerShell. I can do that, but the appliances are Ubuntu based, so is there some sort of module I need to install on a my bastion host that connects to these VSANs so that I can run the powershell script to create the LUNs? This is the part that isn't really clear and the documentation that was provided for my setup (https://www.starwindsoftware.com/resour ... ng-web-ui/) does not specify the steps needed, and tells me to go to a section which doesn't exist.

Thank you for your assistance.

Welcome to StarWind Forum.
StarWind VSAN free, by design, allows GUI only for management.
You can install StarWind VSAN Management Console and the PowerShell module into a Windows-based VM.
Speaking of the script, check this out https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/vie ... NT8#p37208.

Just curious, have you had any issues running the StarWind VSAN Management Console in a VM, or does it work smoothly for you?
