As I was testing the vSAN last night, I wonder what will happen to the witness disk if I just pull the network cables from one of the server.
The server will have the local copy of the disk and thus think it is the owner while the other will also think the same.

When I actually pull the cables, both server can no longer talk to each other however, VM are running on the both servers, and when the server came back online again.
My VM crashed ...

Thanks for your interest in StarWind solution
It seems you have reproduced split-brain issue during your testing.
I would highly recommend you to configure at least 2 independent HB Interfaces in Failover Cluster Manager and StarWind as well for better redundancy.
