Hi,

I am trying to setup a 2 node cluster with the free license in order to try this with hyper-v failover.
Unfortunately this appears to be trickier than i though and always fails with "Invalid Partner Info"

I have 2 servers with 2 NICs, one connected to the 10.1.2.0 network to the DC and one connected to 192.168.1.0 on each server respectively.

I am able to create a new device but unable to sync. The device wizard looks different than in any of the tutorials I found online
- I am not able to select a file name/path for the virtual disk file
- also there seems to be no option to define a L2 cache

Once I created a device and attempt to add a replication partner I need to select an interface for heartbeat and syncing
- bot NICs are grayed out by default and I need to check the box in the bottom in order to select each interface for sync and the other one for heartbeat
- at the last step when creating the replication process it eventually errors out with the "Invalid Partner Info". I understand this is a common error but I could not find any specific pointers for this error.

I did reinstall stawind a couple times but that did not help unfortunately

I tried to follow online tutorials but the interface always looks slightly different and i am afraid I missed something significant in my setup. Could someone help point me in the right direction?

Thx
Nilzor

Hello Nilzor,

Please check that you applied the same licenses on both StarWind hosts.
Also, please check that iSCSI Target Server role is not installed on both hosts. Server Manager ->Remove Roles and Features Wizard->File and Storage Services-> File and iSCSI Services ->uncheck ISCSI Target Server.
You can follow one of the most actual documents here to configure HA storage: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwi ... -v-cluster
If it will not resolve the issue, let us know!
