So I am trying to set up a 2 node hyper converged failover cluster with my starwind vsan NFR license and windows server 2016 TP5. I recognize that server 2016 is still in the testing phase. The problem I am having is that anytime I try to add data to my cluster volumes one of my nodes will bluescreen. I followed this guide to setup my starwind vsan:

https://www.starwindsoftware.com/techni ... luster.pdf

I have looked everywhere in the even log but all it says is that "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck." This happens every time I add data regardless of which node I initiate the transfer from. Has anyone seen anything like this before? I am trying to set up a lab environment with this so that I can test it thoroughly before I purchase a full license for our production cluster.

The hardware is 2 nodes of a older Dell C6100 XS23-TY3 each with an LSI 9240-4i connected to 4 WD RE 1TB in RAID10. I am using the 2 built in NIC's.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hello nwallace,

Thank you for sharing a results.

LSI has an issue with a drivers for LSI 9240. As far as we know version 6.708.7 is stable.
