Need some help please !!

I was cleaning up the devices (lsfs) and selecting "remove device" which removes them from the target, but does not delete them. I the accidentally clicked remove disk on a live disk which has VMware VMs on them as a VMFS datastore. Oops !!
Now I am unable to re-add the existing device (spsp). When I click on "add existing device to target" , no device is shown. I tried running the advanced option, but it looks like it wants to create a new device regardless if I specify the existing device file. I have not completed the wizard as I suspect it will break the device.

How do I get an existing device (lsfs) re-attached to the existing target when accidentally removed the device ?

Some advise would be much appreciated

Hello,

Could you please clarify did you remove a physical device(lsfs files) from the datastore?

If not, you can always add existing device. Please double check, that you are adding the right device(I mean spspx file).

Thank you.
